The design and build is completely free, and we also include basic website hosting, SSL/HTTPS and a web address at no charge for as long as your website stays with us. That means you can get your website online without needing to buy anything — no agency retainer, no lengthy contract, just a live site.
If you'd like us to keep looking after your website once it's live, ongoing management is available as a monthly service.

Free Website NI designs and builds your business website for free. Basic hosting and SSL/HTTPS are included at no charge for as long as it stays hosted with us, so it can go live without you needing to take a paid plan.

Managed Website
We look after your website for you. This isn't a hosting fee — your free hosting continues either way — it's for businesses who'd rather we actively manage things, with ongoing changes and hands-on maintenance. Get in touch for pricing.

Content updates on the Managed Website plan cover occasional small changes, not unlimited development. Larger redesigns, new pages requiring substantial work, ecommerce, booking systems, custom functionality and other bigger development aren't included in either plan and can be quoted separately — see Custom Apps for examples.

What's covered, and what isn't
Free hosting has no set expiry date
Basic hosting and SSL are included at no charge for as long as your website stays hosted with us — subject to fair use and our Terms, there's no fixed cut-off point. If you ever choose to move your website away from us, your free hosting simply ends: no cancellation fee, no ongoing charge, and we'll give you a copy of your website files on request. Want to come back later? Just get in touch — re-hosting isn't guaranteed and depends on availability at the time. Prefer us to actively manage things instead of just host them? That's what our optional Managed Website plan is for.
The free build doesn't include ongoing changes
We design, build and launch your website for free — but updating it afterwards isn't part of that. Want to manage it yourself from here? We'll provide your website files. Want us to keep looking after it — content changes, maintenance, monitoring? Choose our Managed Website plan.
Free web address included — custom domains cost extra
Every free website includes a web address at no charge, so there's nothing you need to buy to get online. If you'd like your own custom domain instead (e.g. yourbusiness.co.uk), that's available as a paid option. Already have one? We'll connect it — it stays entirely yours. Need us to buy one for you? We'll manage it on your behalf and you remain its intended owner, with the right to have it transferred to your own domain account any time you ask. Either way, you cover the registration/renewal cost, and Free Website NI never claims ownership of it. Note that a domain doesn't include business email — see below.
Business email isn't included
We don't provide, host or manage business email/mailboxes (e.g. hello@yourbusiness.co.uk) — you're free to use any provider, such as Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. If we're managing your domain/DNS, we can add the records your email provider gives you (MX, SPF, DKIM and similar) so it works, but ongoing mailbox support isn't included — see below. Your contact form works with whatever email address you already have, so you don't need to buy one just for your website.
Larger projects are quoted separately
Both plans cover the website we build for you. Larger redesigns, new pages that need substantial work, ecommerce, booking systems, custom functionality, integrations and other bigger development aren't included — these are quoted separately once we understand what you need. General IT support isn't included
The Managed Website plan covers your website and associated website services only. PC or laptop support, printers, Wi-Fi/network issues, mailbox administration, general Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administration, ongoing Outlook troubleshooting, password resets, MFA, device setup, email migrations and other general IT support are not included.
